Owner and Founder:
Andrea Gray MD is a board-certified opthamologist offering comprehensive medical, surgical, and routine eye care, including glasses and contact lenses. Along with the most current medical knowledge and surgical techniques, Dr. Gray is a preferred provider for most insurances and vision plans. She offers laser treatments, multifocal lens implants, advanced diabetic eye care, oculoplastic surgery and is very experienced in minimally invasive no-stitch cataract surgery.
Roseburg is Dr. Gray's hometown. She completed a B.S. degree at Oregon State University, and then went on to earn her M.D. at Oregon Health Sciences University. Her internship in medicine/surgery was served at Legacy Hospitals in Portland. Dr. Gray then completed a 3-year residency to specialize in ophthalmology at UC Davis, where she served as chief resident. She has published numerous articles in ophthalmology journals, delivers lectures at continuing medical education meetings, and served on the editorial advisory board for EyeNet magazine for the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Nestled in the Umpqua Valley, Roseburg has a blossoming wine industry, mild climate and excellent outdoor recreating. Roseburg, OR is conveniently located on Interstate 5 in Douglas County. The public schools in Douglas County have a student to teacher ratio averaging 19:1 and there are private school options as well. Commute times in our area are short and physicians enjoy a tight-knit medical community.
Roseburg is 1 hour south of Eugene and only 3 hours south of Portland. Roseburg is a comfortable community with affordable housing, reasonable cost of living and abundant outdoor activities surrounding it. Exquisite natural beauty and outdoor activities abound in Roseburg. Hiking, fishing, hunting, biking, running, tennis, skiing (alpine and cross-country) are readily available. We have an active theater community, many fine and performing arts activities for children and adults, and free concerts and movies in the parks. We are 1.5 hours drive from the beautiful Oregon coast, and 1-2 hours to cross country and downhill skiing. The larger communities of Eugene and Medford are an hour to the north and to the south. Roseburg has an excellent and rapidly growing wine industry. We have a superb community college that has an enology and vintner program.
