Mercy Health is seeking a dedicated, experienced physician to join our academic faculty team in Toledo. We are actively recruiting an Internal Medicine physician and are also open to an experienced Family Medicine physician for an outpatient-focused role.
This opportunity is best suited for a physician with significant clinical experience who is passionate about teaching and mentoring. The role offers a rewarding blend of clinical education and patient care, with approximately 80% resident precepting and 20% direct patient care. There is no call requirement at this time.

Administrative & Faculty Responsibilities
This is a three-year, ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency program with continued accreditation, currently accepting 12 residents per year. Established in 2006, the program offers comprehensive training in both ambulatory and inpatient general Internal Medicine, along with subspecialties.
Graduates are well prepared for academic medicine, community practice, or fellowship training. Faculty are actively involved in research across areas such as infectious disease, respiratory disease, and sleep medicine.
