Hospitalist Position Description

  • 158 bed level III Trauma Center
  • 30 bed Acuity Adaptable ICU
  • Multiple subspecialties (Pulm/CC, GI, Urology, Neuro, Surgical, etc…)
  • NP’s responsible for majority of admissions
  • Inpatient- 13-16 per physician
  • Incredibly strong RT department
  • Teaching institution affiliated with IU School of Medicine – we have Med students and residents
  • $35k+ potential Sign-on Bonus, Relocation package, Physician driven compensation package (future RVU option)
IM Academic Option


  • Good Samaritan is part of a 4 four-hospital consortium that is affiliated with IU Schools of Medicine, which will be bringing 4-6 new residency programs to southern IN.  Good Samaritan will host the Internal Medicine Residency Program starting 2020.
  • Good Samaritan is a 15-bed acute care community hospital with a full range of outpatient services
  • Good Samaritan Behavioral Health serves an area of over 250,000 people
  • Faculty assist with recruitment, selection, and interviewing of potential residents, as well as teaching
  • Supervise in outpatient continuity clinic and to have a panel of outpatients as your own
