  • Multidisciplinary ICU
  • Level II Trauma Center
  • Closed for medical patients, consultation for surgical/cardiac patients
  • 24/7 coverage, Leapfrog compliant
  • Average census is 6-8 patients, 1-2 daily from the ED or the OR
  • Contiguous PCU
  • Tertiary referral center for ND and bordering areas of SD
  • Very flexible schedule

CHI St. Alexius Health is the largest health care delivery system in central and western North Dakota and is comprised of a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, and critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services.
