The Anesthesiology Institute at the Cleveland Clinic is recruiting qualified anesthesiologists with career interests in the clinical specialties of cardiovascular and thoracic anesthesiology, general anesthesiology, and critical care medicine.
These are unique opportunities to join experienced and junior, clinical and academic anesthesiologists in the respective Departments of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology, General Anesthesiology, and our Center for Critical Care. Positions are available at our main campus, and regional system hospitals in northeast Ohio. Clinical responsibilities include working within an anesthesia care team model, comprised of residents, fellows, CRNAs, Nurse Practitioners, Anesthesia Assistants, and Physician Assistants in operating and non-operating room locations. Our variety of practice settings includes training and education of our residents, fellows, SRNAs, and medical students, while other settings have a more non-teaching clinical focus. We have a very robust clinical research program to complement the interests of both academic and non-academic anesthesiologists. Faculty within the Anesthesiology Institute have their academic appointments with the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. Applicants to the Department of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology are expected to have advanced training or experience in Advanced Perioperative TEE; certification, or eligibility for advanced PTE certification is desirable.
