Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock (BHMC-NLR), in conjunction with Arkansas Health Group (AHG), is seeking a BE/BC Neurologist to practice in an outpatient clinic. The recruitment need is growth related.
Currently there are two neurologists practicing at BHMC-NLR. The plan is to recruit a third physician and move to a 7 on/7 off model. The ideal candidate will be willing to work with residents as BHMC-NLR has established two residency programs on the campus. Twelve Family Medicine residents and Twelve Internal Medicine Residents began their training in July 2019, along with Twelve Transitional residents. Additionally, a Psychiatry Residency began in July of 2022 accepting 4 residents per year.
BHMC-NLR is the third largest hospital in the 11-hospital Baptist Health system at 248-beds. AHG is the employed physician group for Baptist Health. This opportunity provides a base salary as well as quality incentive and production based bonuses.
