Incoming candidate can expect:
- Monday - Friday from 7am - 3:30pm (while assigned to Sedation Services
- 12 hour shift 8am to 5pm or 5pm to 8am (while assigned to Pediatric ICU) Â
*Also includes Resident teaching service
The Willett Children's Hospital of Savannah is the only children's hospital in Southeast Georgia, including the region's only Level III Neonatal Care Unit. In 2017, the Willett Children's Hospital served more than 75,000 children in the region and has plans to expand its services over the next five years.Â In addition, Memorial Health broke ground on a new free-standing facility, with anticipated opening in 2020.
Memorial Health is an academic health center that serves as a safety net hospital system for a 35-county area in southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina. This 604-bed tertiary care center is also the clinical home of Mercer University School of Medicine's Savannah campus, which is a 4-year program that matriculates 60 new physicians per year.
