The Department of Radiology at Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia is currently seeking applicants for a full time faculty positions in a dynamic MSK section seeking to expand. Responsibilities include the full range of MSK diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures as well as fellow/resident/medical student teaching. An interest in interventional procedures, as well as interest in research are beneficial.
VCU MSK Radiologists practice at the main downtown campus, the Stony Point Outpatient Center, and the new multidisciplinary Neuroscience, Orthopedics, and Wellness Center (NOW). State of the art CT, MR, US, and radiography equipment as well as dedicated MSK procedure rooms are available. Excellent professional relationships exist with the Departments of Orthopedics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Division of Rheumatology. The newly opened NOW Center further enhances these professional relationships.
The successful candidate must be ABR certified or have passed the Core Component of the ABR Board examination and must be MSK fellowship trained. The applicant must demonstrate experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU. Candidate must be eligible for a Virginia medical license and for permanent employment in the USA. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
