How many patients a day is reasonable, and who decides? At United Regional, our outpatient Internal Medicine physicians decide and most average 10-14 a day.

United Regional is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine physician to join an employed multispecialty clinic in North Texas.

About Your Work:

  • Patients stay yours: build a true panel and care for the same patients, not a rotating queue
  • A transition clinic that handles post-discharge care: your day is chronic-disease management, not urgent follow-ups
  • 4.5-day work week: 36 patient-facing hours, with the remaining time flexible for admin work or personal time
  • Support that actually reduces your load: APPs, RN nurse navigators, community health workers, social workers, and practice managers handle refills, prior authorizations, and coordination
  • Specialist access under one roof: multispecialty facility makes a walk down the hall and talk face to face a reality
  • Epic EMR with AI and modern tech implementation

What You Can Expect:

  • Guaranteed first year salary floor of $250k, plus wRVU production incentive
  • Total compensation potential of $450k+
  • PSLF-eligible employer
  • Sign-on bonus & relocation allowance
  • CME allowance & residency stipend
  • Paid malpractice coverage, including tail
  • Marketing & practice development support
  • No state income tax

About the Hospital:

United Regional is an independent, not-for-profit Level II Trauma Center. Licensed for 325 beds we are ranked in the top 2% of Texas Hospitals by Newsweek's 2026 Best-In-State Hospitals. United Regional serves an 11-county region, 325,000 individuals, and is home to the largest Internal Medicine group in the area. No private equity, no corporate playbook.

About the Community:

Wichita Falls offers a cost of living roughly 20% below the national average, with easy access to Dallas/Fort Worth, strong outdoor recreation, and a genuinely tight-knit community; the kind of place where you might have a specialist's cell number, not just their office line.
