Academic Electrophysiologist - Beaumont Health, Royal Oak

The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan is seeking a BC/BE cardiac electrophysiologist to join a busy clinical, research and teaching program. The Beaumont Health Heart Rhythm Service is a dynamic clinical service offering all advanced interventional EP therapies, as well as many investigational technologies.  There are 4 procedural labs, 5 mapping systems (Carto, Ensite Velocity, Rhythmia) and a hybrid lab for lead extractions.  We are seeking an individual with advanced EP skills, a strong track record in clinical research, and a commitment to teaching fellows, residents and medical students.  Mid and early career candidates will be eligible for academic appointment to the faculty of Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor.

The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Beaumont Health, Royal Oak has a strong tradition in academic cardiology, and serves as both a community and tertiary referral service. We are located in Oakland County in southeast Michigan.  The area has ample access to restaurants, cultural events, college and professional sports, and outdoor activities.  Over 500 inland lakes are found in the surrounding region.

The candidate must be  board certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine in  Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
