Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine in Lawrence, KS

Physician Opportunity

If you have a passion for building a pulmonology practice while you build your home in one of the most vibrant communities in the Heartland, Lawrence Pulmonary Specialists may be your perfect fit.

LMH Health is located in Lawrence, Kansas, and serves the surrounding communities through four rural health clinics. It is a four-star hospital focused on being the best healthcare system in which to give and receive care.

You’ll have the chance to work with a great team including board-certified pulmonary & critical care physicians providing outpatient and inpatient call/consult coverage at one location.  Opportunities to grow include the potential to add sleep studies or collaborate with an oncology team for lung cancer to build a practice that incorporates the newest insights woven into the timeless approach to caring for the people in our community. Our values are People First, Integrity Matters and Better Together. If those values are important to you, maybe this is the place you can make a difference.

Our Pulmonology practice includes treating clinic patients, general pulmonology procedures including EBUS, guiding treatment of our open-ICU hospital patients and providing pulmonology consults.  The call is shared with the other three physicians while clinic is shared with the physicians and two APPs. This physician will be required to perform EBUS procedures.

Emergency room physicians and hospitalists manage patients and provide assistance. LMH has an open ICU where hospitalists manage patient care.
