The Brain Health and Cognitive Disorders Program is a growing collaboration amongst neurologists, neuropsychologists, advanced practice clinicians and researchers. The Ochsner Neuroscience Institute has a complement of over 40 neurologists and 12 neurosurgeons with representation in all subspecialty areas. Ochsner is the leading clinical oncology program in the Gulf South Region, and the neuro-oncologist will join an effective team in partnership with tumor-focused neurosurgeons, medical oncologists, reconstructive surgeons, and clinical research support. In the past year, Ochsner has provided both personalized and state-of-the-art care to more than 15,000 cancer patients. We are in the midst of building a 100,000 ft2 expansion to the Gayle and Tom Benson Cancer Center and are formalizing plans for additional cancer centers across the Gulf South, reflecting our commitment to leading cancer care in the region and beyond.
