Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine - Academic Open Rank Position

UofL Health and the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine at the University of Louisville is seeking a BC/BE professor of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine to serve in an open rank, term-track position, at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, and/or Associate Professor level. The successful candidate will serve as a faculty member of the medical school staff, based in the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine. This position involves the instruction of medical students during their rotation in our department and participation in the didactic teaching of anesthesia residents and other surgical and emergency department residents rotating through anesthesiology. Responsibilities include patient management, supervision of residents and nurses in the UofL Hospital OR, the OR at Jewish Hospital, as well as involvement in anesthesia research.

Applicants must hold a medical degree and have completed clinical training in anesthesia. Candidate must also possess a Kentucky medical license.
