In 2021, Baptist Health Richmond saw an increase in the demand for outpatient behavioral health. More than 400 of these patients needed inpatient services and had to leave their community and local support systems to receive these services. This community needs and deserves to have access to inpatient behavioral health close to home. At Baptist Health Richmond, we believe that mental health is equally as important as physical health, and will deliver compassionate, personalized care to support our patients to thrive, not just survive. Baptist Health Richmond is truly passionate about this service and look forward to continually growing Behavioral Health services for its community.
