The primary focus of the position will be the delivery of autism/developmental diagnostic evaluations, with the option to provide additional clinical service based on the candidate’s expertise and interests (e.g., delivery of evidence-based intervention). The position will include opportunities for clinical training/education through the hospital’s APA-accredited psychology internship, psychology and developmental-behavioral pediatrics fellowships, pediatric clerkship and residency programs, and psychology practicums. Interested candidates will also be invited to contribute to community educational outreach efforts, as well as research and program development activities focused on autism and neurodevelopmental disabilities. Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship is preferred but not required.

Candidates at all levels of experience will be considered. The position includes a competitive salary and benefits package. The Division of Developmental and Behavioral Health at Children’s Mercy offers a desirable and collegial work environment with an excellent quality of life.
