Duke Department of Anesthesiology Seeks Anesthesiology Faculty for Durham VA Health Care System

The Duke Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a full-time anesthesiologist to work clinically at the Durham VA Health Care System but have a joint appointment with the VA and Duke University Medical Center.

• Ideal candidates will be BC/BE in Anesthesiology and have strong academic accomplishments (publications, research, or educational interests).

• Leadership and administrative experience are highly desired.

• Durham VAMC is located conveniently across the street from Duke University Medical Center

Clinical responsibilities will include

• Clinical care in the non-cardiac operating room (OR - all specialties except pediatrics),
• Non-OR anesthesia (GI endoscopy, radiology, etc), and main OR call.

• Duke University is located in the greater Triangle area of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, which offers wide-ranging options in residential communities, social activities, and nightlife.
