OhioHealth is hiring a BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a highly skilled, dynamic team of Heart & Vascular physicians in Mansfield, Ohio.

  • Mansfield Hospital is a 326-bed, tertiary care hospital with approximately 58,000 ED visits.  Servicing a population of almost 400,000 people in a six-county area.   A Level II Trauma Center offering world-class medical care with the latest technology and advanced procedures, recently achieved MAGNET certification.
  • Mansfield Hospital is the largest hospital between Columbus and Cleveland with subspeciality expertise in structural heart/complex interventions, Electrophysiology, Cardio-Oncology and Congenital Heart Disease.
  • Interventional cardiology provides comprehensive services to include STEMI, structural heart, complex coronary interventions, shock and pulmonary embolism programs with 24/7 STEMI call coverage
  • Electrophysiology offers advanced procedures in atrial fibrillation and VT ablations and subcutaneous ICDs
  • Advanced cardiac imaging with Cardiac MRI and cardiac CT
  • Nuclear imaging including CZT camera,
  • Advanced echocardiography with 3D and 4D echo/TEE and Intraprocedural imaging for structural procedures
  • Vascular Imaging, including comprehensive peripheral vascular program with open surgical and endovascular procedures
  • Device Clinic

Responsibilities:

  • Interpretation of non-invasive cardiac testing
  • Indirect supervision of stress tests
  • Participation in intraprocedural TEE imaging (training provided if needed)
  • Attending weekly Structural Heart team meetings
  • Outpatient clinic in Mansfield and satellite locations
  • Inpatient Cardiology consultation, leading a team with 2-3 Cardiac Nurse Practitioners
  • 1:8 call with weekend call rounding in the hospital with a Nurse Practitioner

Requirements:

  • BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist through the American Board of Medical Specialties
  • Level II Nuclear
  • Level II Echo
  • Cardiac CT and/or MRI experience a plus, but not required
