Parkview Health is seeking Board-Certified or Board- Eligible Neurologist for consulting Neurohospitalist services to join a multidisciplinary Neurosciences team including Neurocritical Care, Neurosurgery and Neuro-Interventional Radiology
Specifics of the Role of a Neurohospitalist:
- Acute neurology patient consulting – only service
- Emergency Department stroke assessments with guidance for thrombolytic therapy
- Virtual neurology consultations at affiliated outlying hospitals
- Electroencephalogram interpretation
- Flexible and light overnight call schedule
- Inpatient and Outpatient opportunities available
- Expertise in stroke and EEG interpretation are an asset
- Separate NeuroICU service covered by neurointensivists
