OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is seeking a physician interested in practicing rural Family Medicine at our Baker City location, joining a 500+ provider multi-specialty group practice.

SAMG Baker Clinic is dedicated to providing services for a full spectrum of family medicine patients, including those with pulmonary, diabetic and arthritic/autoimmune conditions.

Team: Join one other physician, an NP, a PA and a robust team of dedicated support staff + all additional resources available through the larger medical group. 

Schedule: M-F, 34 patient contact hours per week. 4-day work week available. No call. No inpatient work. 

The ideal candidate will commit to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care while demonstrating and modeling the organization’s core values of reverence, a commitment to those who are poor, justice, stewardship and integrity. Requirements include a strong clinical background and a desire to develop a full-time medical practice to support the patients and families the clinic serves. This position does not include OB care.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program
  • Board certified or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment
  • Obtain Oregon and Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases
  • Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Baker City (SAMC – Baker City) is a critical access hospital in eastern Oregon with a Level IV Emergency Department (roughly 7,500 visits per year) and private patient rooms.
