Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center is a non-profit 304-bed acute care hospital and regional referral center covering over 40 medical specialties. As a Level II trauma center, Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center’s emergency department sees an average of 210 patients daily and 75,000 patients annually.

The $18.4 million dollar brand new Atrium Health FSED will provide 24/7 emergency care to residents of Summerville, Trion, Lyerly, Menlo and surrounding communities in North Georgia. This facility will include six treatment rooms along with onsite laboratory and imaging services, including x-ray and a computed tomography (CT) scanner.
