Cleveland Clinic is seeking a board certified/eligible Diagnostic Neuroradiologist with an American Board of Radiology Subspecialty Certification in Neuroradiology; candidates who are currently in or who have recently graduated from an ACGME accredited Neuroradiology fellowship are also encouraged to apply.

This is a stable and collegial group of 22 Neuroradiologists that is growing.  Work-life balance is achieved through a well-established hybrid work model with both on-site and off-site postings; there are an average of 2-3 off-site postings per week and all evening and weekend duty is off-site with workstations supplied by the institution. There is worklist ownership for daytime assignments and shifts (on-site, off-site, evenings, and weekends) are equally distributed.  Aside from diagnostic Neuroradiology examinations on both adult and pediatric patients, candidates should be comfortable with spine procedures (lumbar punctures and myelography) which are shared with a team of imaging advanced practitioners.  There is opportunity to participate in the imaging-guided biopsy service if this is an interest of the applicant.  Cerebral angiography is not performed by the Neuroradiology section.  There are extensive research opportunities.  This position presents an excellent opportunity for professional growth with the benefits of practicing in a collaborative environment with excellent colleagues.

There are many opportunities for education. Staff candidates have the opportunity to apply to become faculty at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.  There is a Diagnostic Neuroradiology fellowship program and a Diagnostic Radiology residency program with a total of 32 residents. A 1-month medical student clerkship is offered and approximately 50 medical students rotate through the department each year.

Cleveland Clinic, an internationally renowned subspecialty medical center located in Cleveland, Ohio, is composed of a 1,400-bed main campus, ambulatory care facilities, and the Lerner Research Institute. Cleveland Clinic Health System currently encompasses 12 community hospitals and more than 20 family health centers within the Cleveland area. Over 2.6 million radiological examinations are performed annually system-wide at the Cleveland Clinic with a focus on sub-specialty care. There is a wide complement of state-of-the-art MRI and CT scanners, including a clinical 7.0T machine, photon counting CT, MRI PET and MR guided focused ultrasound for intracranial applications.

Neuroradiology staff maintain close working relationships with primary referring centers in the Neurological, Pediatric, Cancer, Medicine, and Head and Neck departments to promote clinical innovation and research. Research efforts are supported by dedicated high field and ultra-high field MRI machines and dedicated MR and CT physicists.

Things to do and enjoy in Cleveland are too numerous to list but notable examples include: multiple professional sports teams, multiple universities/colleges, the Cleveland Orchestra, Playhouse Square, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and other world class museums, and the Cuyahoga County National Park.  Cleveland offers a low cost of living and is a wonderful place to live.

This position offers a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package as compared to other academic institutions.

Candidates from all stages of their careers are invited to apply.
