OB Hospitalist Physician
Opportunity Criteria
Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a large multi-specialty medical group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a BC part time (.6 FTE) OB Hospitalist Physician to their team. Responsibilities would include covering the OB emergency department, covering patients in labor & delivery, providing emergency gynecological consults, and being available for surgical assist needs. Opportunity Highlights:
- Incoming physicians would be based out of Mercy Hospital of Folsom
- Hospital does approximately 600-700 births/year
- Join a growing program which will consist of 3 dedicated Ob Hospitalists and support from a large pool of clinic based doctors in the program
- 24 hour back-up Ob on-call
- Part-time opportunity that includes seven 12 hour shifts/month and shifts can be done as 24 hour shifts.
- Three 12 hour back-up shifts a month required (home call)
- Level I nursery with support from the Level lll NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center

Compensation Range: $180,000 - $200,000 / Year
The posted compensation range is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
