Shannon Clinic is seeking a BC/BE Infectious Disease physician who is a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills, HIV experience preferred, and ability and desire to support quality improvement,. Come join our exceptional team in beautiful San Angelo, TX. Shannon is locally owned, governed, and not-for-profit organization. We are the sole healthcare system in San Angelo and surrounding cities.
In this role, the Infectious Disease physician will support patients with a wide range of complex infectious diseases including general infectious disease, transplant-related infections, travel-related infections, and become part of a robust HIV program. You will also see inpatient consultative and provide Infectious Disease services in the ambulatory setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. The group provides consults within the hospital, and also see patients in clinic, which happens to be located adjacent to the hospital.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4.5 days/week, and share call.

San Angelo is a small city of approximately 100,000 people, located in Tom Green County in Central West Texas. San Angelo's climate, recreation opportunities, schools and low crime rate have earned it the moniker of "Pearl of the Concho." San Angelo enjoys warm summers and mild winters.
