Outpatient Pediatrics Physician

District Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician to join our academic pediatric primary care team caring for patients at the Valleywise Community Health Center in Phoenix, Arizona. This clinic is a federally qualified health center (FQHC) that serves all members of our community, including low income and uninsured patients.  The patient population is diverse and includes a substantial pediatric refugee population.  The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, culturally competent, comprehensive, pediatric primary care in a teaching environment that includes residents from Phoenix Children’s Hospital and medical students from Creighton Medical School, Phoenix.

All Valleywise Community Health Centers have a system wide score of 21and qualify for multiple loan repayment programs including National Health Service Corp (NHSC), AZ State Loan Repayment Program (SLRP) and the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program (PSLF).

Candidate must have an Arizona MD or DO license, strong interpersonal skills, and an outstanding work ethic.  Previous clinical experience and bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred. Experience in global health is a strength.

The position offers employment through District Medical Group Inc. (DMG), a multi-specialty group with 450+ providers exclusively contracted to provide patient care and teaching at Valleywise Health System.  Valleywise Health is the Phoenix area’s only public teaching health system.
