Pathologist

Guthrie Medical Group is seeking a US or Royal College Board Certified/Board Eligible Pathologist to join its practice. H1-B Visa applicants accepted.

Highlights of the Position

• Regular performance of pathological analysis, including microscopic analysis of submitted specimens, including frozen sections and FNA interpretation and immediate adequacy assessment.
• Must be board-certified or eligible by the American Board of Pathology in both clinical and anatomical pathology
• Fellowship training in Cytopathology, or GI strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a sincere interest in working collaboratively with clinicians and administrators in the delivery of integrated care are essential
• Can be a hybrid position with some remote work
• Weekday and weekend call from home: Call is 1:5 with new hire call will be 1:6
• No Autopsies
• No Grossing Specimens - completed by APP staff
• Three APPs in Lab
• Access to Digital Pathology
• Licensure in Pennsylvania and New York will be required
