Renown Health, Northern Nevada's largest and only not-for-profit healthcare network, is hiring a Peripheral Vascular Surgeon. Join our growing Department of Surgery, division of Vascular Surgery, practicing in the region’s busiest full-service Heart and Vascular Institute and the only Level II Trauma Center serving a catchment area of over 900,000.
The successful candidate will be a BE/BC Surgeon with Fellowship training in Peripheral Vascular Surgery. The candidate must be proficient in complex open and complex endovascular procedures. The candidate will join 3 senior level Peripheral Vascular surgeons and 2 dedicated First Assist APPs in the department of Vascular surgery.
The Surgeon will provide services for patients in the community, work to elevate our Acute-Care Vascular Surgery program, and support the growth of our ECMO program, Cardiovascular Service line, and Vascular Medicine program. The Surgeon will be expected to evaluate new inpatient consults and have comfort in covering vascular trauma.
Incumbents will also help develop the Vascular Surgery Outpatient Clinic seeing both pre- and post-op consults. Ideal candidates should be comfortable in the management of complex open vascular surgery and endovascular skills are a must.
As Joint Faculty, our physicians teach Residents and Medical Students for the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Renown Regional is a state-of-the-art, 700 bed acute care facility with comprehensive and outpatient services and 24-hour emergency care.
