Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University (OSU) Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) and College of Medicine is seeking to recruit a fellowship-trained, board-certified or eligible, Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician. The current Maternal-Fetal Medicine division members include nationally recognized leaders of the subspecialty with diverse clinical expertise and are dedicated to training the next generation of leaders in MFM. Division members provide inpatient and outpatient clinical maternal and fetal medicine services at OSUWMC campuses, manage labor and delivery, participate in faculty call schedules, and provide outreach and consultative services for three regional healthcare systems. Moreover, Faculty in the division engage in translational, epidemiologic, and clinical research and lead several community-engagement projects in the Columbus area.

The physician is expected to be involved in educational opportunities to instruct medical students, residents, and MFM fellows; and may be called upon to serve on the university, college, departmental, divisional, and hospital task force committees, as appropriate. Ideal candidates should have outstanding clinical experience and skills in the management of the full spectrum of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Applicants will be expected to mentor residents and fellow research or QI projects and participate in administrative functions and meetings of the division, department, and University. This position is estimated to be 100% effort at the assistant or associate professor rank. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and CV. Candidates should commit to excellence in clinical care, patient safety, and patient satisfaction. Candidates should have a strong interest in teaching, community engagement, and research, participating actively in these missions of the division. Candidates must also show a demonstrated commitment to diversity and equity.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Board Certified/Eligible in OBGYN and Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Completion of an accredited residency and fellowship program is required
• Qualify for academic appointment at the assistant or associate professor rank
• Have or qualify for an active license to practice medicine in the state of Ohio

During the last decade, the Division of MFM has experienced substantial growth to include 12 full-time Board-Certified faculty, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and 7 MFM fellows. The Division faculty provides outstanding clinical care to a large and diverse clinical population in state-of-the-art facilities, including brand-new, cutting-edge outpatient care facilities located in Upper Arlington and Dublin. The MFM Division significantly increased its national ranking and NIH funding level and is a member of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development Maternal-Fetal Medicine Units, NAFNET, and the American Heart Association Health Equity Research Network.
