Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking BC/BE Neurologists to join a busy outpatient team of 4 physicians and 4 experienced mid-level providers in Paducah, Kentucky
Position Highlights:
- Outpatient-focused practice with minimal call responsibilities 
 
- Collaborate with two neuro-hospitalists and a stroke navigator
 
- Provide care for a wide range of neurological conditions: General neurology with optional subspecialty focus (e.g., headache, memory disorders, stroke follow-up, Botox therapy for chronic migraines)
 
 
 The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
- Strong interest in outpatient neurology
 
- Passion for patient-centered care and improving access in underserved communities
 
- Comfortable working in a team-based environment alongside mid-level providers, neuro-hospitalists, and care navigators
 
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to care coordination
 
- Willingness to participate in program development, quality improvement, and community outreach
 
 
Clinical Skills:
- General neurology diagnostics, including seizure disorders, movement disorders, and neuropathies
 
- Botulinum toxin injections for chronic migraine management
 
- Cognitive assessment and memory disorder evaluation, including familiarity with tools like MoCA or MMSE Stroke follow-up and rehabilitation planning, including coordination with therapy services and stroke navigators
 
- Electrodiagnostic testing (EMG/NCS)
 
- Procedural Competencies (Preferred but not required): Botox administration for neurological indications, EEG interpretation (if applicable), EMG/NCS performance or supervision Lumbar puncture (for diagnostic purposes)
 
- Optional but preferred: Headache management, including advanced therapies and medication protocols
