The Duke Eye Center in Durham, NC is accepting applications for a highly qualified, full-time specialist in neuro-ophthalmology to join its expanding practice.  Candidates may have received primary training in either ophthalmology or neurology, and must be board eligible or certified in their field.  Fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology is expected, and post-fellowship work experience is preferred, but not required.

This position requires both excellent clinical skills and a dedication to academic ophthalmology. The faculty member will be expected to engage in both teaching and clinical research activities. 

Duke Eye Center (the department of Ophthalmology at Duke University Medical Center) specializes in all areas of ophthalmology, includes almost 100 clinical and research faculty, and is home to several unique centers of excellence focused on rare and complex diseases.  Since the Ophthalmology Department is an integral part of the world-class Duke University Health System and Duke University School of Medicine, our faculty have access to a broad spectrum of clinical and research activity.
