Orthopedic Surgery Generalist Opportunity in Grand Forks, ND

Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon-Generalist to join our multispecialty orthopedic practice in Grand Forks, ND. Additional surgeon is needed due to our continued practice growth both locally and regionally.

• Join 5 fellowship trained surgeons, 1 Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician, and 4 APPs. The group of physicians and APPs is leading providing of Orthopedic care in the Grand Forks region
• Clinic is a stand-alone Orthopedic and Sports Medicine facility providing the following services:
• Orthopedics
• Podiatry
• Sports Medicine
• Orthopedic Walk-In
• Physical/Occupational Therapy
• Access to state-of-the-art surgery center
• Sanford Health provides team coverage for the University of North Dakota athletics
• Sanford Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is building a relationship with the University of North Dakota Medical School, which will provide research and teaching opportunities
• On-site digital imaging and on-site OT/PT
• Limited call responsibilities
• Opportunity to work with the orthopedic surgery residency program in Fargo is available, but not mandatory

Sanford has announced its intent to open a new clinic in Grand Forks, North Dakota to meet the growing demand for its services in the area. The new location on the southern end of the city will complement the clinics Sanford established in East Grand Forks over the past two decades.

This new clinic will open at 17^th St and 47^th Ave. South near Edgewood Village in the southern part of Grand Forks which is quickly expanding with businesses and new homes into one of North Dakota's fastest-growing communities. An opening is targeted for the spring of 2021. This first phase of a planned multi-specialty care expansion will be a 22,000 square-foot space for 15 primary care and specialty care providers.

Grand Forks is a vibrant city in North Dakota sitting on the boarder of Minnesota, across from its sister city of East Grand Forks. Our two cities embody one lively, bustling community surrounded by tranquil, scenic farm country. Along the Red River, the Greenway is a system of waterfront parks and trails.
