CL Inpatient & Outpatient Psychiatry - Alpert Medical School of Brown University & Rhode Island Hospital

Rhode Island Hospital, and The Miriam Hospital (Lifespan Physician Group), affiliated hospitals of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University  is recruiting board certified or eligible psychiatrists with an interest in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry. Primary duties include consultation-liaison to our inpatient medical and surgical floors and the opportunity to work in outpatient integrated care settings (transplant, oncology, immunology, neurology, and primary care). We encourage candidates to develop a niche area of interest as we expand and diversify our department.  Weekend CL work is also available.
 
About the Opportunity:

  • Full time inpatient CL and mixed inpatient-ambulatory CL opportunities
  • Work with a dynamic team of psychiatrists, residents, fellows, medical students, advanced practice providers, and social workers staffing consults in locations which may include medical-surgical floors, emergency department and integrated care ambulatory consultation settings
  • Academic faculty appointment offered at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University
  • Supervise and mentor Brown University trainees including CL fellows, residents and medical students

The Requirements:

  • Board certified/board eligible in general adult psychiatry
  • Fellowship training in CL Psychiatry welcome but not required
