Job Description

NYC Health + Hospitals Kings County is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join its dedicated behavioral health team in Brooklyn, New York. This position will provide direct psychiatric evaluations, assessments and treatments to adult patients admitted to inpatient care. The Psychiatrist will also be teaching and supervising trainees while also teaching at SUNY Medical School as requested. This position also has the opportunity to grow into Unit Chief, Medical Director, and/or senior leadership positions of interest.   • Monday to Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

NYC Health + Hospitals Kings County is a municipal hospital in the East Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn. This 639-bed hospital features a state-of-the-art Behavioral Health facility and a Level 1 Trauma Center. The hospital provides a multitude of healthcare services, including Primary Care, pediatrics, women’s health, stroke care and a variety of specialty care services. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Medical Center to continue its high standards of healthcare delivery.
