This is an exciting time at the University of Missouri to join the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health as the Leader of the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Division! We are in an active growth period with intent to expand our academic pillars of patient care, research, and education, vital to providing exceptional women’s health care in central Missouri.

Our Educational Model:  

As educators, the MFM Division is an integral part of University of Missouri (MU) medical student and post-graduate trainee education. We have a strong long-standing ACGME-accredited OBGYN residency program accepting four residents per year. There is full support, and all necessary services and volumes present to establish a Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship, with the intent to do so once our core MFM faculty are in place.   

Research Model:  

Those who are physician-scientists will receive the support they need to achieve their desired goals whether their research be basic, translational, or clinical. Startup funds available to candidates with current or pending grants.

Qualifications:  

  • MD/DO 

  • BC/BE in General Obstetrics and Gynecology 

  • BC/BE in Maternal-Fetal Medicine 

  • Academic qualifications for the rank of assistant professor, associate professor, or professor in the tenure or non-tenure clinical track.  

  • Rank and competitive salary will be commensurate with training, academic level, and experience.  

  • For the purposes of this application platform, board-certified/board eligible are considered experienced.
