The Department of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) has openings for open-rank faculty positions in the Division of General Internal Medicine. Candidates must be board certified, or board-eligible in Internal Medicine. We are seeking high quality clinical faculty for outpatient, Primary Care positions. These positions will be responsible for outpatient visits and consultations, supervision and teaching of medical students and residents, and attending appropriate Medical School and Departmental Committees.

The positions offer the opportunity to engage in patient care, education, and research based on each candidate’s interests and qualifications. Our team of academic physicians practice at outpatient facilities with the Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health System. Robust fellowship programs with a strong core medicine residency present exciting teaching opportunities with students, residents, and fellows. Research structured in an institute-based model within Rutgers Biomedical Health Sciences, provides a platform for extensive collaboration. Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJMS' principal teaching affiliate) is a 950-bed facility located in New Brunswick, NJ, and is part of the integrated health system with an NCI-designated cancer center (Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey). The system is a $5 billion enterprise caring for close to 40% of all NJ residents.
