Duke Cardiology Interventional Cardiologist in Danville, VA

Duke Cardiology and the Duke Heart Network has an opening for a community-based Interventional Cardiologist in Danville, VA. Duke seeks a talented BC/BE cardiologist to join a team providing a suite of diagnostic, interventional, and stabilization services to this beautiful region of southern Virginia. Four physician partners established and developed a high-performing model with each paired team alternating clinic and cardiac catheterization lab weekly.

The Duke Cardiology clinic is adjacent to Sovah Health hospital, a 250 licensed bed facility with well-trained and motivated staff at the region's designated Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center. Call is 1:4 and STEMI call on a Q3 basis. Sovah Health has cardiovascular services support for key relationships throughout the region.

Danville is a city of more than 40,000 located in beautiful southern Virginia near the North Carolina border just 45 miles from Greensboro and 60 miles from the Raleigh/Durham/ Chapel Hill area.
