AdventHealth Gastroenterologist | Traditional GI

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for dynamic and energetic Gastroenterologists to serve the needs of West Volusia County, north of Orlando and south of Jacksonville.   Opportunities exist within the following locations:   Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach, DeLand, Fish Memorial and Palm Coast.  All our locations are within minutes of each other of the northeastern coastline.

AHMG Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking partners with the desire to build a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians. Strong referral base and access to supporting specialists would allow physicians to quickly build a robust patient base and provide a continuum of care. Our gastroenterology network is aligned with our Digestive Health Institute providing multidisciplinary care to patients across the spectrum of digestive disease.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Procedure exp a plus (ERCP, EUS)

A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. The new physician should have the desire to join a busy practice and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth.   ERCP and EUS preferred, but not required.

Board Certification in Gastroenterology (ABMS or AOA) is required.

The practice is a part of AdventHealth Medical Group.   This is an employment opportunity that includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation with a productivity model. AdventHealth Fish Memorial began as Fish Memorial in 1952 in DeLand, Florida. In 1994, the hospital was renamed Volusia Medical Center and relocated to Orange City to serve the growing population of southwest Volusia County. In 1996, the Adventist Health System purchased Volusia Medical Center and in 1998, renamed the facility Florida Hospital Fish Memorial to honor the hospital’s benefactor, Judge Bert Fish. In 2003, Florida Hospital Fish Memorial expanded and in 2007 Fish Imaging opened on the hospital campus. In 2015, Deltona Health Park opened as part of our continued promise to provide quality health care to the residents of Southwest Volusia County and Fish Imaging relocated to Deltona Health Park. In January 2019, the hospital was renamed to AdventHealth Fish Memorial
