ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

Practice Highlights at Yakima Pediatrics for Adolescent Medicine Specialist-Teen Health Clinic

  • Pediatrician needed to provide primary health care and selective medical services/procedures to a pediatric/adolescent panel at our large, single specialty pediatric clinic.
  • Provides subject matter expertise, and oversight in peds/AMS in leading Pediatric Teen Health Clinic (THC). This may include advanced gyne clinic skills, eating disorders, and gender-affirming care.
  • Opportunity to teach resident physicians and med students.
  • Flexible 4/10 schedule with no call, rounding, or attending deliveries. 
  • Expected volume of 18-20+ patients p/d after ramp up.
  • Working with, and sensitive to a marginalized patient population in a FQHC/CHC setting would be a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish would be a plus.
  • EMR: OCHIN EPIC.

 Qualifications

  • MD/DO degree or IMG equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited US Pediatric Residency.
  • Prefer adolescent medicine fellowship, or extensive experience with this specialty. 
  • WA License or the ability to obtain a WA license.
  • DEA certificate, current BLS certificate.
  • BE/BC required and preference for a CAQ in adolescent medicine.
  • Great peer references and in good standing.
  • Approved for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and health plans.
