The VA is seeking a full-time General Diagnostic Radiologists to join our team at the Sacramento VA Outpatient Clinics. Mammography specialty candidates are highly desired but not required.
The General Radiologist reports to the Assistant Chief of the Imaging Service as the first line report who provides general supervision of clinical and administrative functions and completes annual appraisal. In the absence of an Assistant Chief of the Imaging Service, the Imaging Service Chief will serve as the first line report. The Chief of Staff provides overall guidance of medical practice in the medical center.
CANDIDATE MUST BE: 1) US Citizen or PRA, 2) BE/BC in Diagnostic Radiology, 3) Have a full, unrestricted medical license in any state and 4) confirm vaccination for seasonal influenza and Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), which are both requirements for all Health Care Personnel (HCP) employed by Department of Veterans Affairs.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
WORK SCHEDULE: Hybrid schedule 40hrs/week (4-10hr. shifts); no on-call responsibilities at present time

COMPENSATION: Base salary is 380K – 400K annually with incentives that will create a total compensation package between 430K – 450K. This position does not include relocation and recruitment incentive but is eligible for a retention incentive.
