HonorHealth is seeking Fellowship Trained Interventional Pulmonology physicians to join  the robust HonorHealth Thoracic Oncology Program.  The growth in the Phoenix metro area  has created  significant community demand for additional expert interventional pulmonology (IP) care dedicated to the Thoracic Multi-Disciplinary Oncology team.

Qualifications include:

  • MD, DO or MBBS Degree
  • ABIM Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
  • AABIP certified or eligible in Interventional Pulmonary 

Interventional Pulmonology physicians  will be responsible for the management of medical issues of patients with lung, pleural, mediastinal and chest wall tumors; trained in preoperative assessment and bronchoscopic management of thoracic tumors.  The physician will work closely with the oncology team utilizing a multidisciplinary care model.

Piper Center located at the HonorHealth Shea Campus was the first comprehensive cancer center in metro Phoenix to offer diagnosis, treatment, clinical trials, and support service under one roof.  As the HonorHealth Thoracic Oncology program continues to grow, the HonorHealth Osborn and John C. Lincoln campuses have comprehensive teams to bring diagnosis and treatment closer to the patients with additional growth opportunities for world-class Interventional Pulmonary services.  Experience in broad-based interventional procedures and experience in Robotic Bronchoscopy preferred to support the growth of the Ion Robotic Bronchoscopy Program.
