Neurologist w/ UofL Health Shelbyville Hospital Campus

UofL Physicians is seeking a BE/BC General Neurologist to join UofL Health on its Shelbyville Hospital campus.

  • The ideal candidate will be well trained in all aspects of General Neurology, be flexible, collaborative and patient-focused.
  • While primarily an outpatient clinic position, the candidate will also perform EMGs, nerve conduction studies and similar scheduled OP testing at the hospital, and be generally available during day clinic hours for ED and IP consults. 1:4 ED call with very low call volume.
  • This position is a non-academic opportunity and is available because of the expanding patient care needs in the Shelbyville service area. 

Practice Overview:

  • Sole FT General Neurologist to start the service line, with support from UofL Health Neurologists
  • Competitive pay with bonus plus RVU production bonus

Shelbyville Hospital is a licensed 70 bed facility centrally situated in the 50,000 resident County.  Shelbyville is currently the 2nd fastest growing County in Kentucky with a 20% recent 10 year growth rate, and supports Henry County and Spencer County (which has a 17% 10 year growth rate).
