General Academic Anesthesiologist

The University of Rochester’s Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking general academic anesthesiologists at the Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor level. We welcome anesthesiologists with special interest in Liver Transplant, Ambulatory, Cardiac, Obstetrics, Regional and Acute Pain, Pediatric or General Anesthesiology

General Responsibilities:

• Delivery of anesthesia care to patients
• Clinical and didactic teaching of residents
• Supervision of CRNAs
• Opportunities exist to develop independent and collaborative research as well as innovative education models

Qualifications:

• MD, DO, or equivalent
• BC/BE in Anesthesiology
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted NYS Medical License and DEA

Pay Range: $317,419 - $504,240 Annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
