• 8 Bed ED with 4 Fast-Track Rooms

• 12-hour shifts

Requirements: Qualified candidates must be residency trained and board-certified/board eligible in emergency medicine, or primary care board certification. 1-2 Years of Emergency Medicine Experience Preferred. Active certifications in ACLS, ATLS and PAL required.

Highland Community Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility in Picayune, MS that serves the nearly 19,500 annual Emergency Department visits each year. Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians or ABIM/ABFM Physicians with 1-2 years of ER Experience are preferred to serve at this fast-paced facility that also offers Nurse Practitioner coverage during its peak hours. Picayune is only 50 miles from New Orleans, and 60 miles from Hattiesburg. Requirements: ABEM/AOBEM Eligible/Certified. Those boarded in Emergency Medicine will not need ATLS, ACLS or PALS.
