LOCUMS Family Medicine Physician Assistant Opportunity Needed in Avon, NC

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Family Medicine – Avon, NC is seeking Board Certified Physician Assistant to provide coverage for their team.   

New providers will need to come in the day before scheduled start date for orientation. 

Coverage Needed: 
6 month coverage needed starting in June 2024 with the possibility to extend. Hours will be Monday-Friday, 8a5p. 

Details: 

• NC DEA, NC license required with no exceptions
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 5 years minimum experience
• Outpatient Only
• Clinic uses Health Direct for PT needs afterhours
• EPIC EMR
• Average # of Patients/Day/Provider: 20
• Established practice including 3 MDs/DOs and 5 Nurses
• Respond to codes
• Clinic includes 6 exam rooms, a trauma room, on-site lab and x-ray
• Required Procedures: Simple laceration repair, Simple lesion removals
