Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible GASTROENTEROLOGIST to join its practice within the subsection of INFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE (IBD).

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE POSITION:

  • Established, regional, multidisciplinary IBD program
  • Dedicated clinical support team of IBD-focused nurse navigator, pharmacist, and Nurse Practitioner collaborator
  • Strong collaborative support from colorectal surgery, GI pathology, and GI radiology
  • Highly collegial, 7 -physician, GI group comprised of general GIs, hepatologists, GI subspecialists, and advanced endoscopists
  • Integrated practice model with a strong, internal referral network
  • GI-dedicated clinical research infrastructure
  • 24/7 reliable hospitalists onsite as well as GI hospitalist
  • EPIC medical record platform utilized throughout the Ochsner Health System
