Primary Care Physician Job-Available Immediately! Coastal Florida!

AdventHealth Primary Care Network is seeking two board certified/board eligible family or internal medicine physicians to join an existing practice in Daytona Beach, Florida. This primary care office can house up to four primary care providers. Physician will take over a fully established patient panel. 

This office is located in the beautiful community of Daytona Beach, FL, where you can live on/near the beach, yet be very close in proximity to the metropolitan community of Orlando. There are great neighborhoods and schools for families and access to many beaches, parks and other recreational activities in the area. It is approximately a 45-minute driving distance to Orlando, FL.

At work, you will experience:

• Work Life Balance Schedule. You can choose either a 4-day or 5-day work week to best fit your needs.
• Patient Census.  Expect to see between 20-22 patients per day utilizing the efficiencies of EPIC, electronic medical record. 
• Clinic support team.  Includes one dedicated medical assistant (MA) per provider, front office staff, and a practice administrator. 
• Collegiality. Work in a team-oriented environment with like-minded physicians in an office housing 4 primary care providers and access to specialists throughout the network.
• Specialty Network.  Comprehensive team of specialists and ancillary services available to provide full spectrum of care for your patients’ needs.
• Clinical Utilization. You will have the opportunity to practice medicine as it should be and utilize all of your clinical skills-preventive care, chronic disease management, acute care, and office-based procedures.   
• Environment. Our office is intentionally designed to meet the needs of our patients. Located in the medical office building of AdventHealth Daytona Beach hospital.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
• Board Certification in Family or Internal Medicine (or Board Eligibility within 3 years of completing a US based residency program)
• Proficiency with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to joint injections, and minor dermatologic procedures
• Experience with or willingness to supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APRN & PA-C)
