Academic Rheumatologist Opportunity - Worcester, MA!

UMass Memorial Health, the health and wellness partner of the people of Central Massachusetts, the largest health care system in Central Massachusetts and the clinical partner of UMass Chan Medical School, seeks Clinical Rheumatology Academician to join the UMass Memorial Medical Group.  We are a well-established, collegial, and highly productive team of 13 faculty and 4 clinical fellows.  This unique opportunity offers:

  • The opportunity to develop and grow an area of academic expertise while enjoying a rewarding clinical practice
  • Ground floor professional space in our newly renovated and expanded Rheumatology Center along with strong clinical support and Specialty Pharmacy staff
  • The ability to see a breadth of disease given Worcester, Massachusetts’ ethnically diverse population
  • Academic rank commensurate with experience; we train medical students, residents and two fellows each year
  • Protected time to foster academic growth for candidates with strong clinical research or educational background; the position can be tailored to meet the needs of the Physician Scientist applicant, including resources to support a laboratory and/or clinical research program.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in patient care and be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Rheumatology.
