Hasbro Children’s Hospital, an affiliated hospital of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Lifespan Physician Group affiliate, has an opening for a physician with fellowship training as a pediatric epileptologist. In this position you will join a world class team of physicians, nurses, nutritionists, and pharmacists. Candidates with epilepsy surgical experience encouraged to apply.

About the job:

  • Join a team of 9 other pediatric neurologists including 3 epileptologists
  • Time split 75% epilepsy, 25% general pediatric neurology
  • Support from a full compliment of epilepsy services including Ketogenic Diet, Neuromodulation (VNS, RNS), and stereoelectroencephalography
  • Two nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and nutritionists on site
  • Shared space with developmental pediatrics and genetics
  • Combination of in and outpatient service
  • General Neurology Call is 1:9, EEG reading is 1:4, no clinic time is scheduled when on call
  • Academic appointment to Brown University
  • PSLF eligible

Our team provides comprehensive care and innovative treatments to pediatric and young adult patients who have conditions such as epilepsy, headaches, movement disorders, brain injuries, autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, spasticity, and muscular dystrophies.  As part of the Brown Neuroscience Institute, we work across institutional and disciplinary boundaries to advance neurological care in pediatrics.
