Hiring One Full Time Day Shift Hospitalist in Lake Jackson, Texas

IES, Integrative Emergency Services, is currently hiring one Hospitalist to join an established  group at St. Luke’s – Brazosport Hospital.   

This hospital  is located on a beautiful, 25-acre campus in Lake Jackson, Texas. Offering state-of-the-art diagnostic and comprehensive treatment services, this hospital is home to a 154-bed patient tower, advanced cardiac care center, and full-service, multidisciplinary cancer center. 

The Position:

• Encounters Per Day: 45-55 (including admissions)
• Admissions Per Day: 10 - 12
• Shift Coverage:
  • Days:  2 Physicians & 2 APPs
  • Nights:  1 APP on site with physician backup coverage or 1 physician on-site
• Physician Shifts:
  • 6a - 6p
  • 6p - 6a
  • 7-on/7-off
• APP Shifts:
  • 6a - 6p
  • 8a - 8p
  • 6p - 6a
• Procedures Required: No - ER physicians & surgeons handle most procedures 
• Respond to Codes:  Yes -  ER physicians & surgeons on staff to assist
• EMR: Meditech (version 6)
• Dictation: Dragon

Required Qualifications

• BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• 1 year Hospitalist experience post residency or Hospitalist Medicine fellowship
