The Emergency Medicine Program with Presbyterian Medical Group staffs three busy Emergency Departments in both urban and suburban environments in the Greater Albuquerque Area.  We are a non-trauma designated facility that cares for a high-acuity patient population with an average overall admission rate of 22%.  Our mission is to provide the community with timely access to high-quality emergency care by kind and caring physicians and advanced practice clinicians.  Our leadership team strives to help our providers maintain a balance between clinical work, opportunities to participate in committees and quality projects, and personal time to enjoy all that New Mexico has to offer.

Practice Highlights:

  • The group covers three Presbyterian Hospitals in Albuquerque including Presbyterian Hospital, Kaseman Hospital, and Rust Medical Center in Rio Rancho. 
  • The hospital's emergency departments have 78,000, 45,000, and 40,000 visits per year, respectively.
  • Our group is comprised of 45+ physicians, 25 + advanced practitioners, and a full complement of additional support staff to include scribes for every shift.   
  • We have 24/7 Hospitalists, Surgicalists, Intensivists, NICU, PICU, Cardiology, and more admitting ED patients at our downtown facility.
