Physiatry Opportunity at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center

MUSC Health – Florence Medical Center is seeking a board certified or board eligible Physiatrist to join a collaborative team in one of the fastest growing regions in South Carolina. The team is made up of one other FT physiatrist, rehab nursing, PT, OT, SLP, and case management. Routine Hospitalist consultation and specialty consultative services are available as needed. Originally founded at the intersection of three railways, Florence, South Carolina, has transformed from a small, quiet rail town to a bustling center of industry, healthcare, education, culture, retail, and recreation. In Florence, you’ll find ample shopping opportunities, fine dining, entertainment, live music events, year-round outdoor recreation, and fantastic schools.

Both the Charlotte International Airport (CLT) and Charleston International Airport (CHS) are just two hours from Florence by car.

About the opportunity:

• Candidates must be BC/BE in Physiatry
• Eligible for South Carolina Licensure
• Work is in-patient
• Experience with general inpatient rehab care, including neurological, musculoskeletal, amputation, general medical conditions, team coordination and effective communication, and CMS inpatient rehab policies.
